The Academy of Bioenergetic Health

A modern discipline built on an enduring principle

Across cultures and throughout history, practitioners have observed that health is not governed by chemistry alone.

Early systems of medicine described an organizing force within the body, a dynamic field through which information, energy, and function are coordinated.

While Western medicine moved toward a reductionist model, focusing on structure and biochemistry, parallel traditions continued to work with these subtler layers of regulation.

Today, this perspective is re-emerging in a new form.

The Academy of Bioenergetic Health

Advances in biophysics, bioelectromagnetics, and integrative medicine are increasingly recognizing that biological systems are influenced not only by molecular interactions, but by electrical signaling, light, and field-based communication.

The term biofield was introduced to describe this complex system of energy and information that organizes physiological function.

This is where the Academy of Bioenergetic Health is positioned. Not in opposition to modern medicine, but in expansion of it.

The Academy of Bioenergetic Health trains practitioners to work with the body as an informational system, where communication, regulation, and coherence influence how the body responds and adapts.

Our focus is not on adding more interventions.

It is on understanding how the system is responding, and supporting conditions where more consistent change can occur. This includes:

The role of electrical and electromagnetic signaling in biology

Frequency and vibrational interactions within living systems

Fascia, fluid, and field-based pathways of communication

Practical methods for assessing and supporting system regulation

This work is grounded, applied, and designed for clinical integration.

Meet the Founder, Lisa Chilvers

Lisa Chilvers of Bioenergetic Health

Lisa Chilvers is the founder of Bioenergetic Health and the developer of the Bioenergetic Resonance (BER) Method™.

Her work is grounded in a consistent clinical observation: well-designed protocols can produce results, but often only to a point. Over time, many clients experience diminishing response, reduced compliance, or fatigue from sustained restriction.

This is not a failure of the approach. It reflects a limitation within a purely prescriptive model.

A prescriptive approach can only go so far. Long-term outcomes depend on how the body is able to receive, integrate, and respond. This led to a central question:

What determines whether the body can actually respond to care? From this, a different focus emerged. Not on adding more interventions, but on understanding and supporting the body’s response.

When the system is more regulated and communication is more coherent, responses become more consistent, and the need for ongoing restriction often decreases.

The Academy of Bioenergetic Health

The Bioenergetic Resonance (BER) Method™ was developed from this understanding. It provides a structured approach for working with the body’s communication systems,
supporting regulation, coherence, and real-time feedback in practice.

The method integrates:

  • Nervous system regulation
  • Bioenergetic assessment
  • Device based practice
  • Frequency-based inputs
  • Fascia–meridian communication models

As both a practitioner and educator, her focus has been to bring structure and clarity to this layer of work, making it teachable, repeatable, and applicable.

Through the Academy of Bioenergetic Health, her work focuses on advancing practitioner education in this field — providing clarity, structure, and accessibility to bioenergetic approaches within contemporary healthcare.

Beyond Certification

Ongoing professional development

Graduates of the BER Method™ are eligible to join the BER Professional Association.

This is an active membership designed to support continued development, clinical refinement, and professional recognition. Membership includes:

  • BER Practitioner Certification status
  • Professional directory listing
  • Practitioner peer group
  • Structured recertification
  • Annual practitioner meeting with case review and clinical updates

The purpose of the Association is not only to maintain standards, but to support continued precision, clarity, and confidence in practice.
